A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your loved ones…..

As Christmas gets close, it’s a time for new starts and a bit of old fashion gift giving, even here at a Patricia Howard Retirement Planning, where the spirit of Christmas is alive and strong, and the future for 2025 looks bright and exciting.

To start, we have relaunched The No-Regrets Guide to Retirement Facebook page, providing helpful tips and timely prompts as to how you can improve your financial position. If you spend time on Facebook, please follow us at  https://www.facebook.com/TheNoRegretsGuideToRetirement as this will make a big difference to the success of the page and how many people we can help by providing good financial advice.

So, putting on my Santa Hat, I have decided to make a very special offer. If you don’t already have a copy of my book, The No-Regrets Guide to Retirement, just contact me directly via email and I will send you a free copy if you mention this newsletter.

In line with our growth plans for the next year, again with my Santa hat on, I am also reaching out to all existing clients who might have a family member or friend or who are readers of this newsletter, who need help sorting out their financial situation and planning their retirement.

If you are an existing client and refer a family member or friend or need help yourself to sort out your financial situation, I am offering to provide a Statement of Advice or financial plan, which normally costs $4,500 free of charge.

This is a significant benefit, particularly for married couples where one partner receives advice and the other doesn’t. As you will read in this newsletter, just as you have pulled together to pay off your house, you should pull together to build your superannuation.

I hope if you’ve been thinking of getting financial advice that you take advantage of this offer.

The most asked question put to me this year is, “Is it time to sell my Commonwealth Bank shares?”, so I have got my crystal ball out and gazing into the future, I can provide you with the answer to this much asked question.

While I’m staring into the future, I can also tell you what next year’s most asked question will be and that is” what annuities are, and should I have one?”. In response, I have written an article just to answer this question for you ahead of time.

Many people still don’t believe they need a financial advisor. That’s like saying an athlete doesn’t need a coach, or a business doesn’t need an accountant or that you’re better off alone then with a partner…

It just doesn’t make sense. As a result, I’ve written an article to convince those who still might not agree.

Finally, while everyone is spending up big, I’ve written a fun tip sheet for how you can save money this Christmas. It might help reduce those post-Christmas spending hangovers.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your loved ones.
